I love these and like to imagine that Kraftwork once visited or even lived there.....and yes, I too would love to know exactly who they really are?

Ha Ha! That's a good spot Dave. We wrote about Edward VIII and his local post boxes some time back - He insisted on having his fashionable parting showing on his "best-side" on planned (but unminted) coinage (See full details) .
