Thanks for posting this photo, Wendy. Do you have any more of the fire at Ally Pally? I volunteer on their History Tours and it's always interesting to see this sort of thing!

Yes, Maria, I took several photos when the fire first started.  They are on Diana's Blog - Glorious Confusion - We were sitting on a wall looking in the direction of the BBC tower when we saw smoke billowing out, so went to investigate.
