From about 1926. It was located outside the Pharmacy on Broomefield Parade (Bowes road) corner Brownlow road. Was later moved onto the otherside on Ritz parade at some time presumably when they widened the A406. i remember it when i moved into the area in autumn 1977. Little did the two dapper chaps realise William Hartnell would one day appear from it!

When the air-raid siren was next to this police box, my brother and I used to wait on our way to Bowes Road School hoping that the siren would sound. If it did, we could go home again!
