A Community Network for Bowes Park and Bounds Green
Up above the generic shopfront of the Halifax Building Society in Wood Green High Street you can still detect the building's former grandeur. Originally built as the Wood Green Empire in 1912 by famed theatre designer Frank Matcham - it was home to an infamous, onstage death in March 1918

Walking along the High Street in Wood Green recently I looked up at the buildings above the shop fronts and noticed for the first time how interesting some of them are. The M&S building is one of my favourites.
London Metropolitan Archives in Clerkenwell (www.cityoflondon.gov.uk/lma) holds a lot of records about Musc Halls in the former Counties of London and Middlesex (amongst an amazing 105km of records relating to all-things London!) It also has 'Chung Ling Soo's' Coroners Inquest file!
