Hi Hugh: local residents have successfully campaigned to persuade architects to keep the frontage, but it seems it will be dominated by a new 4 storey building behind it, quiet out of sync with the local residential and parkland environment (it is opposite Woodside Park).

Not very inspiring is it. I don't know how much latitude there is on police station design, but I'd have thought they could have done better than this.
