"I agree, if you walk to or from one of the stations or to a bus stop pick up a piece of litter, if people do this a couple of times a week it'd make a difference."

I take a walk (for exercise) most days around our local streets (Bounds Green) and sometimes along the New River path particularly as it heads up from Myddleton Road across the N Circ towards Palmers Green. The streets can be quite messy with discarded bottles, cans and fag packets and it tends to degrade our view of where we live.I usually take an old "bag for life" and pick up some litter as I go, most of which can be recycled when I get home.
