Many thanks for your message - It would be great to have a VCS expert here! In my paid job I work for a charity in east London - working on communications - so I am very keen to see voluntary sector activities getting a profile.
Specifically I would like to develop more of the resources on the site to list what is located around our area, and this would include mapping the voluntary sector. For example as well as the 128 Myddleton Road Community Centre we also have Commerce Road Community Centre and the TAB Centre Plus nearing completion - each of these spaces houses loads of activity and it would be good to connect to what is already happening, publicise community events more widely and invite people to participate here.
Of course our core area crosses the Enfield and Haringey borders - so some of our area is out of your professional remit!
I'd be happy to meet up and discuss further the plans for this site if you have time - in the meantime please do participate on the site - and feel free to invite others to join in too.
Thanks Richard
good to hear from you - did you work for the DSC? Anyway, would be great if you came to film club - it's lots of fun. Keep in touch.
