Alex is nearly 24 yrs old and is from Essex. He was 18 yrs old when he was diagnosed with a blood cancer called Classical Hodgkin’s Lymphoma 4B in April 2016.
He has relapsed 6 times now. Alex has had endless chemo and 2 stem cell transplants which failed to cure him.
In January 2020 he was given a trial drug that nearly killed him in February 2020.
So with the news that after a year of remission from June 2020 to August 2021 his Hodgkin’s lymphoma has returned and his consultant said he is incurable.
There is a glimmer of hope and one more chance with an unrelated stem cell donor which is why we are asking for help.
Could you be his donor? Could you save his life?
