Take a Picture of Happy Stuff on the Street

A simple but pleasing idea from GOOD

A picture of something you've found on the street that makes you smile. Maybe it's a work of street art. Or maybe it's evidence of an act of kindness. Or maybe it's just something that's accidentally beautiful.

My local candidate is a little picture on a door in Salisbury Road, N4

One of a series of little photos taken by Woodlands Park Childrens Centre exhibited around Green Lanes in a 'guerilla art exhibition' (click on photo for more information)
It genuinely pleased and surprised me to spot it there when I got off the bus.

This street sign defacement in Regent Square spotted by Londonist is bound to raise a smile, but I'm really very tempted to do this to the next mattress I see...

What makes you smile in your street?

This is a terrific idea. ...Here is my submission for happy stuff - a couple of doors away on my street in Bowes Park one of my neighbours has carefully clipped hedge which, if you look closely, reveals a topiary smile. :)
