The Big Green Bookshop is a much loved independent retailer in Wood Green London N22 which, alongside being the only dedicated bookshop in the area, also hosts author talks, comedy nights, film shows, quizzes, board games a book group and kids storytime. It is run with the local community very much in mind.

To support the shop in getting over a difficult period at the end of March Scott Pack, (@meandmybigmouth on Twitter also the name of his blog ) organised a Tweetup - a meeting of Twitter contacts. A group of people came together for a fun evening at the shop to meet other Tweeting book lovers and spend a bit of spare cash on books.

You can spend some money with the Big Green Bookshop too - contact them at http://www.biggreenbookshop.com/
