On Saturday September 8th 2012 The Friends of Finsbury Gardens in Bowes Park London N22, organised an event to celebrate the extensive regeneration of the park which is looked after by volunteers from the local community.

Hornsey and Wood Green MP Lynne Featherstpne was in attendance, along with Mayor of Haringey David Browne, and Bounds Green Ward Councillors Joanna Christophides and Ali Demici.
The Ribbon to open the park was cut by one of our longest standing residents Vivian Collete, accompanied by one of our youngest neighbours Ishmael Adekunle.

Kate Franzmann, of the Friends of Finsbuy Park speaks about the history of the park, and the volunteers who have improved it and continue to look after it.
