Dear Neighbours

Sustainable Bowes Park has been resting of late, but interested Bowes Parkers are warmly invited to take a short trip to Muswell Hill Sustainability Group's Green Open Homes 2019 event.

On Sunday 3 and Saturday 9 November you can make free visits to energy efficient homes just a bus ride away.  Meet householders who've increased comfort while cutting energy bills and carbon emissions, and pick up ideas for your own home.

Hosts in Muswell Hill, Crouch End, Alexandra Park, Highgate and Tottenham are offering free one hour tours to share their experience of creating a more sustainable home.

Choose from an Edwardian villa, a 1920s former London County Council house, a 1980s timber-framed house, a top floor flat in a terraced house and Meadow Orchard's cob and straw Ecobuilding. Find out about solar panels, air source heat pumps, wall insulation, green roofs, rainwater harvesting - see details here.   Numbers on each tour are limited so please book now!

Connecting the communities of Bowes Park and Bounds Green in north London.
