The Bowes Park Walking Group celebrated its fifth anniversary in May 2011.
In this video, founder member Catharine Perry talks about setting up the group and explains how volunteers lead monthly weekend walks locally, on the fringes of London, in central London and further afield.
The group have shared their local knowledge by making a series of walking guides available to download. You are invited to come along and join the group - perhaps on one of the newly established summer evening walks, ending at a local pub.

Unfortunately the Walking Group activities are suspended at the moment. If you email walksbowespark@yahoo.co.uk you could be added to the mailing list.  I am not sure about the walk guides, don’t think they have been updated recently.

I'd be interested to see the walk guides but unfortunately the links don't seem to be working. Would it be possible to update them?

Hi all, First time poster but my wife and I have lived on Palmerston Road for about 5 years now. Would be very interested to see the walking guides as we are looking to mix up our lockdown exercise options (the local ones anyway!). Hope to see and meet some of you soon. Dan
