Simon Pearsall is a professional cartoonist whose work appears in Private Eye, The Oldie and The Spectator.
Join Simon for a one-off artist workshop, which will give pupils an exciting opportunity to learn how to draw cartoons or offer further advice and help if you already can!
The workshop will also explore looking for and setting a joke, cheating so your drawing looks better, and a few tricks of the trade.
Attendees will also be able to view his exhibition at The Step which features original and exclusive framed illustrations, including a number of his First Drafts Series, which have been running on the Literary Review page of Private Eye since 2002.
Simon, who lives in Bowes Park, was awarded Gag Cartoonist 2010 by the Cartoon Art Trust.
