We have had a Dawn Chorus Bird Walk, now for one that starts at a more reasonable hour....
Meet at The Grove Car Park at 8am (no booking required)
We will listen out for Flycatchers, Nuthatches, Goldcrests (above) and whatever else is singing or displaying in The Grove before Gareth will lead us eastwards across the Park.
With a bit of luck there will be some raptors (birds of prey) in the sky. On previous walks Kestrels, Sparrowhawks, Buzzards and even Peregrines and Hobbies have been seen.
There will be a Bird Ringing demonstration with the purpose of this activity explained, along with a chance to see some birds up close. (Great for kids!)
