The Museum of London tells the capital's story from prehistoric swamp dwellers to the 1960s in fascinating ways. From Roman carvings to medieval effigies, an 18th century pleasure garden and a street of Victorian shops to a 20th century car and platform shoes, there should be something for everyone.
The Museum provides folding stools, so you can settle wherever you would like to draw. There is also, of course, a cafe for our cup of tea.
We will meet at Bounds Green tube station at 1.00pm to take the Piccadilly line to Holborn and the Central line to St Pauls, which is a few minutes walk from the Museum. If you would prefer to meet up at the Museum at about 1.50pm, let us know so that we can look out for you in the entrance. To let us know if you plan to come, please email bowesparkdrawing@yahoo.com.
