Guest performer: Andy Mathewson
Fingerstyle guitarist, singer and songwriter specialising in ‘vintage acoustic’ music. Expect a journey through mid-20th Century musical history - pre-World War 2 blues and ragtime, 1940s band numbers sung by Billie Holliday and her contemporaries, and early rock’n’roll - brought up-to-date with Andy’s own compositions which have received critical acclaim on both sides of the Atlantic. ‘Exemplary guitar-playing’ Maverick magazine. ‘Beguiling’ Rock ‘n’ Reel magazine.
