Event Description

Yi Jin Jing is the limber “bone-pulling” movements which can stretch the tendons. In other words the muscles in all parts of the body and tendons, ligaments, and joint capsules at all joints are pulled to improve the ductility and strength of the muscles and tendons of the human body and improve the moving functions of the bonds, joints, and muscles. It is suitable for inexperience practitioners.

The "frolics of five animals" are a set of qigong exercises developed in the 2nd century, corresponding to the five yin and five yang internal organs in Chinese medicine. The five animals in the exercises as currently taught are the bear (kidney), tiger (lung), monkey (stomach), deer (liver), and crane (heart), respectively.

Conducted by Master Huang Ping. As a State Referee / Coach of the Yunnan Provincial Martial Arts Team of China, Master Huang was first introduced to the Chinese Martial Arts at the age of 8.
