After all the thrills of the Soap Box Derby and the 150th celebration, we have a rather smaller event which should nevertheless be full of excitement for children.
Family Bug Hunt Sunday August 4th starting at 1.30pm. If you have children who would like to discover some of the small creatures which crawl, hop, jump or fly in Alexandra Park, join us on Sunday August 4 at 1.30pm. The children will hunt for the bugs, and we have someone to identify what they find.
Children must be accompanied by an adult, and that adult must stay with and be responsible for the children they bring. We will be in the area by the reservoirs where there are ditches full of water, so waterproof footwear is advisable, and I am afraid it would not be suitable for pushchairs or tiny children.
If you would like to join this bug hunt, please email us at admin@friendsofalexandrapark.org or via the website www.friendsofalexandrapark.org telling us how many children and adults you wish to book for, and we will let you know where to meet.
