A Community Network for Bowes Park and Bounds Green
Be part of a hands-on workshop rediscovering some of the London untold histories of BAME women.
Stories all too often written out of history.
Collage Arts is calling all set designers, graphic designers, writers, artists and event planners! Join our 4-week project for the Alexandra Palace Summer Festival. We are looking for participants who need a helping hand getting into the creative industry, to build creative confidence and resilience, extend their skill set and develop their portfolio.
Starting on 24th July to 17th August the workshop will be held every Wednesday and Thursdays at our studios in Wood Green. The project aims to tackle the lack of history focused on women of colour within the UK specifically London and to encourage interaction from members of society that don't usually visit museums/galleries or feel represented in such spaces. The project also aims to challenge the traditional way the public currently interacts with Museums and Galleries.
This is a unique opportunity to join an ever-expanding collective at the heart the creative quarter in North London. We will aid you in finding creative employment opportunities, advice and guidance . The only criteria is that you are 18-25, living in London and are unemployed or underemployed.
Priority will be given to Enfield and Haringey female residents.
