"A ‘poem for the eyes’, the garden has structure, full, generous, romantic planting. Billowing, overflowing, balanced by flat, open lawn in first half, and airy, dreamy planting in second half, a pebble garden marks the border. This is not a manicured garden. Simple, unfussy with a contemporary feel, calm, quiet and peaceful. Many spring plants and bulbs, some in pots. Autumn is rusty, even looser and soft. A different pleasure. Golden in sunlight. Home made teas"
