The annual service known as Blessing of Graves gives the opportunity to remember those who have died and to pray for the repose of their souls in heaven. 

The Blessing of the Graves service is held in conjunction with adjoining Catholic Parishes as a reminder that the Catholic community is wider than just the Parish in which the cemetery is administratively situated

Whilst many Roman Catholics choose to be buried, the cremated ashes of Rev Robin Christopher Whitney , former priest at St Monicas Parish, may be found interned in the Garden of Rest (RED MARKER) surrounded by his parishioners
