Dear Friends,
Greetings!
It happened to be that I had my first sermon preached in England was on a Remembrance Day in 2006 in Oxford as an ordinand. It was a moving experience for me since I come from Turkey, and as you know that Turkey (Ottomans) and United Kingdom were other side of the war, where they had very bloody battles like Gelibolu. As one who is Christian, I always find the issue of war and just war very challenging. Of course, this year we are remembering 100th anniversary of ending Fist World War and I would like to invite you to pray and reflect with me on Sunday at 1100 at St Michael at Bowes church.
