A general level class for students of any age and experience         

Starting from 4 September 2017 – Classes will take place on Monday mornings 10.30-12 noon, (Drop in)

Charges: £11 per session. You do not need to be a member of the club.

The type of yoga I teach

• I teach 'Hatha yoga’, which is a branch of yoga that emphasizes physical exercises to master the body along with mind exercises to withdraw it from external objects.
• A hatha class is slow paced, with breaks between poses, returning to a neutral, restorative seated or standing pose between more difficult poses. 
• My teaching is gentle, yet strong enough to build up inner strength with an emphasis on synchronising the mind, breath and body. You will practice a range of postures which mobilize all the joints and stretch and release muscles. The main aim is to release stress, still the mind and rejuvenate.
• At the end of each yoga class, there is a time for rest & reflection. I may lead a chant (which you are welcome to join in too) & guided meditation, & will encourage you to relax & quiet your mind.
• Yoga is beneficial for most people and most conditions.
• My class is a 'general' class and suitable for all levels.
