Event Description

We are delighted to host another outstanding pianist/singer this week. Blues pianist and singer Eric Ranzoni has quickly gained a reputation as an outstanding Blues pianist with a distinctive singing style and a knack to entertain a crowd. Solo or with other top musicians Eric performs regularly in many venues in London and the UK, with frequent stints abroad.

Since 2009 Eric Ranzoni's also been the European pianist for Chicago singer Mud Morganfield, the eldest son of Blues legend Muddy Waters. As a member of Mud's band he's appeared on TV show 'Later with Jools Holland' on the BBC  and played major Blues and Jazz festivals and venues (including Ronnie Scott's and the Royal Albert Hall).

His blues trio comprises guitar ace Mal Barclay (The Cadillac Kings) and top drummer George Hart. They offer a stunning selection of Blues standards that includes songs by Willie Dixon, Memphis Slim, BB King, Muddy Waters, Otis Spann and many others.

Half time support comes in the form of Steve Ingrey and Harmonica Dave Barton, aka The Fox Chasers.

It doesn't get much better; hot Blues to round off a cold week, see you there
