After quite some time away, this week sees the return of the Low Down Dogs who pick up the Blues Baton to provide you with an eclectic evening of acoustic and electric Blues.

A discerning band of musicians, the Low Down Dogs feature the sublime vocals, slide guitar and harmonica work of Mad Dog Dave Barnes along with John Crowther's vocals, and top drawer guitar and mandolin skills.

The rhythm section sees Dave Thomas on bass, guitar and vocals and, we are delighted to announce, Pete Abernethy is restored to the rudest of rude health and in his rightful place on the drum throne from where, unsurprisingly, he drums and  provides backing vocals.

With support at half-time you can expect a night of the real folk Blues.
