We're delighted to welcome The Right Reverend Swifty LeZarre to St Harmonica's this Friday with his band the Smokers.

The Right Reverend Swifty LeZarre has updated some of the best classic Rhythm & Blues from both pre and post war blues and brought a hard driving edge to supplement his stellar Dobro playing. Imagine Elmore James meeting Duanne Allman at the crossroads with the lyrical sensibility of Woody Guthrie and Bob Dylan. Twenty years out of New York City, Swifty's history is steeped in mythology. He says he sold his soul to the devil for his rugged good looks and unparalleled guitar playing ability; but the Rev kicked the Devil on the blind-side and took his soul back. The Devil, who appreciates irony, couldn't stay mad and admitted he should have seen it coming. They now play poker every second Tuesday of the month.
