An informal meeting has been called by residents to discuss the options available for stopping the clamping. Although the private clampers operate within the law we find that many of their practices are unfair and exploitative.
• Why can't the warning signs be more prominent?
• Why are motorists given no grace period before they are clamped?
The purpose of the meeting will be to:
a) List the changes we expect the Landlord to implement to make the operation fairer.
b) Agree on the most suitable action necessary to bring about these change.
We'd really appreciate your ideas.

Thanks Richard for setting-up the meeting announcement in the Events section. The RSVP button is an excellent feature. See you there.
The clampers have been lying low lately -- but hover at times when least expected - like 10:30 on Saturday evening (it's a 24 business!) What practical justification motivates this? Also, lie in wait sometimes in their car at the top of the road (Maidstone) where they have a clear view of cars driving in and being parked.
Look forward to finding out about this evening's discussion even if I don't manage to make it.
