The Guardian has just published a photo essay on the history of the London Underground. The 11th image is a poster from 1933 promoting our station as a destination in itself: "The latest in Railway Station Architecture, come and see it."

A wooden playground recently opened on the the green near the Ranelagh Pub. It integrates seamlessly with a large trees-stump that’s been left where it was felled. The tree-stump can be used by adults for sitting on or as a continuation of the play area for older children.

Hi Kevin,
I want to write a story for the paper on the Trees at Work installation. Is it still going on?
Would you be free to give me a call on: 0208 370 5476 today?
Hi.Kevin.Thanks. I stopped there on Friday at 18.46.I went to the chicken shop & grocery store.Within 4 minutes they were busy clamping my car even though my partner explained to them what I was doing.I believe they were taking advantage of it being a bank holiday weekend.I have found discrepancies on the receipt I was issued ie incorrect badge number & time of clamping noted at 16.52.I have contacted my card issuer and am trying to get payment revoked. If this is unsuccessful I will be going to small claims court. Thanks to you guys on here I have collated most of the information I require.
