A Community Network for Bowes Park and Bounds Green
Hello Bowes and Bounds Connected,
I have lived in the area for about 5 years now, and have been working as a massage therapist both in Islington and in Bounds Green. My partner and I work out of a treatment room in our house, and we're called the Bounds Green Osteopathic and Massage Therapy clinic. Quite a mouthful! I'm originally from Canada, and moved out to England for a change and to reconnect to my British roots. So far so good! I love the UK, and adore London, with all that it has to offer as a cultural centre.
As a massage therapist, I have a number of clients who live close by, which I think is fantastic, because there's nothing worse than having a lovely massage, only to be followed by a nightmarish and stress-inducing journey on the tube or on the roads (the A406 comes to mind at present...).
I offer Restorative Massage, meaning that I like to work with my clients in a way that targets both physical and mental stress. I'll use varying types of massage, pressure and structural release, if appropriate, whilst integrating more relaxing elements to help calm the mind. I called my company Replenish, because my goal is to replenish the energy and vitality that is lost due to the stress and strains of day to day life, (as well as any specific physical issues that you might present with). My treatments include body massage, as well as colon (not as weird/scary as it sounds!) and rejuvenating facial massage.
More info can be found on my website, if you're interested: http://www.replenishbodytherapy.com
Hope to meet some of you soon, either on this site, or in the flesh!
