Talk: An Introduction to Bats
Wednesday March 22 7.30 for 8
Bats are fascinating animals – the only true flying mammal. There are over 1,300 species of bat in the world, and more are still being discovered. Bats account for more than a quarter of mammal species in the UK and around 20% of all mammal species worldwide. Lisa Worledge of the Bat Conservation Trust will introduce you to the incredible world of these nocturnal mammals, from their ancient lineage to their annual cycle.... We’ll look at just why they are such important animals and the work that is underway to conserve the true stars of the night!
Join us for refreshments from 7:30pm with the talk starting at 8pm prompt.
Space is limited, so please email allyparkn10@gmail.com to book places and we will reply with the venue.
