Ben Whishaw and local actor Andrew Leung star in this delicate low-budget British feature. Lilting tells the story of a man (Whishaw) struggling to connect with the Cambodian Chinese mother of his boyfriend (Cheng) soon after his lover's death. Directed by Hong Khaou, Lilting explores how grief can pull people from very different backgrounds together.
