This is the large corner building by the path along the railway, next to the garage. You will have noticed that new fencing has gone up around it 'prior to development'.

It is a fine building, and sad that it is not locally listed as it has a commanding position and many fine details - even though much neglected.

Do take a look at the planning application, and do make comments if you feel so moved.

It would be good to think that the same level of care will be taken here as with the much simpler semi just a few doors down which had to have a whole replacement front and has been very well rebuilt with details to match its 'twin' next door etc.  Well done developer and builders!

The owner of 2 Bounds Green Road which is currently being redeveloped has now applied for planning permission to build a 3 bedroom house round the back of this property and behind several gardens of Fletton Road.

I am concerned that the only access to this property will be by the alleyway at the side of the railway and I am concerned how emergency services would be able to reach this dwelling.

There are further concerns about how the drains/ water/electricity/gas facilities would be located there and how refuse collections would be arranged.

Please look and comment on the Haringey Planning Service website ref: HGY/2014/3338 before 26/12/2014.

Thanks

Pat
