I am sure many of you will remember Brian Moore who lived at 99 Myddleton Road.  A 'local character' whose family had kept a clothing shop there, and he ran it until the early 2000s.  To cut a long story short.... he has been ill recently but is now recovered and is in a temporary stay care home.  He very much wants to get home to his current abode in sheltered accommodation near Alli Palli station.  They have deep cleaned it and had to jettison some of his very old stuff.  It is now ready for him.

BUT...  I was phoned today by a Social Worker who " will be arranging a package of care to support him on a daily basis along with community alarms for emergencies and a key safe to support the carers. .....   but if you are able to support with any donated items, that would be really helpful.  He needs new bed linen, a bed, and a recliner chair. "

If you can give him these.... please contact Lisa Klautke, Social Worker, Hospital Discharge Team, Mobile: 07929781590. Lisa.Klautke@haringey.gov.uk
