Congratulations to the local community and champions for all the fantastic local initiatives from supporting the 'shielded' to local Foodbanks -which do not require referral and can provide immediate support- to flowers in front of houses and flats and to all the 'unnoticed' acts of kindness and support which happen every day.

Our road WhatsApp group provides daily examples of people being helpful, kind, generous, trustworthy and reliable in so many small ways. We are nothing special either. Yet people confidently tell me this would not work in their road. Maybe their attitude is part of the problem?
