Finsbury Gardens is very busy with kids, parents and grandparents these days.  Great.  A far cry from a decade or so ago when it was dark and deserted.

The Friends of Finsbury Gardens, a part of the BPCA, led this major transformation, and the Gardens are mostly maintained by a local group of volunteers.

But we have a problem......the weeds have grown so high that many of the beds are overgrown with thistles and bindweed and lots more.

PLEASE can you help.

We have fixed two gardening sessions - Tuesday July 5th, 11.00 -12.30, and Sunday July 24th, 2.30-4.30.

Just show up if you are willing and able.  Bring your own tools or some will be available to use if you don't have your own.

If you cant make these times, but can still help out, do some weeding in your own time, and put the weeds in a black sack on the pavement to be collected.
