A Community Network for Bowes Park and Bounds Green
We all love living round here ... but how would you explain the area to someone who doesn't know it?
The London Economic, a new digital newspaper, encourages its readers to move to Bounds Green ... because it is "Normal".
Is it?
What do you think about living locally?

I don't know about normal...but there is a great community, you can know your neighbours if you want and there's a great mix of old and young and diversity of cultural backgrounds. And yes, the tube! And there's crime and grime and takeaways too...come to think of it, the Londoner in me says that maybe that is all normal, for London. And much as we can work to improve on the things that make us uneasy, I like the rest.
What's with mentioning ZaynZah restaurant ? That is Muswell Hill not Bounds Green.Bejoy on Bounds Green Road is a great Indian restaurant.
hear hear! good old Bejoy, they cook a delicious curry
What the heck does "London lite" mean? Grumble, grumble ... ;)
Ha ha ... "journalism lite" perhaps?
The Guradian's "Let's all move to..." lite as well. A hoot that he googled the area and decided we were normal.
