Myddleton Road Market wins best small Community Market award.
Huge congratulations to Myddleton Road Market who have today been announced as winnners of the Best Small Community Market at the NABMA (National Association of British Market Authorities) awards today! Its a great reward for all the effort put in by Lucy, Kari and the team of traders and volunteers.
The award was presented by former Coronation Street actor Sean Wilson (who played the part of Martn Platt) at the Great British Market Awards in Birmingham.
Supported by Haringey Council and the Bowes Park Community Association Myddleton Road Market was given permission and funds to run three trial markets on Myddleton Road in 2013. The local response was overwhelming with around 1000 visitors each day. and the market went on to further success throughout last year.
The next "Award Winning" Myddleton Road Market will be on Sunday March 22nd
