On Monday February 4th Thames Water will start to put up the new fencing to stop the graffiti lads spraying our listed Tunnel Entrance.  The works should not take more than a week, and then there will be a final inspection along the Path and if everything is OK then it can be open again.  The embankment works contractors will be back in the Spring, when it warms up, to plant some more grass seed on the bank.  The new vertical metal bank makes it impossible for small animals, birds (or people who might fall in) to get out of the river, so Padraig has designed some ledges that will be inserted at 6 places along the bank.
