Had a rather nice coffee and croissant at the piano shop on Myddleton Road yesterday, which has opened a small coffee bar at the front. Hoping it will do well, especially now La Coppia seems shuttered.
Myddleton Road is so much better than it used to be, speaking as one who members Henleys Bap! But the businesses there, especially new ones, need our support.

Thanks Marcus! My wife and I are running the cafe 'Hot Milk' - the name is our daughter's fave phrase! We are currently serving coffee, loose leaf tea, cakes, pastries and sourdough toasts. We wanted to be open in time for the market last week and managed with a late night push last Saturday. There's still some bits inside that we are finishing up (benches / tiles etc) and will slowly introduce a few items to the menu. We'll also be running some evening musical events, working with Paul and Daniel at Renaissance. Our website is www.hotmilkcafe.co.uk - we hope to see you again soon! thanks, Sam
Seconded - enjoyed a coffee from the piano shop last week and was also excited to find Brazilian truffles (brigadeiros) on offer as well.
I poped in today - great start for this new cafe. Pop in and say hello!
It's a great addition to Myddleton Road. Superb coffee, pastries and cakes. Well worth a visit.
I gather that La Coppia is re-opening next week. We are getting spoiled for choice in Bowes Park!
