It is so dilipitating to see people living in such awful conditions, it does not mean because they cannot afford to buy their own and they can only rent they they should be subjected to such filthy buildings, they are not only dirty but also hazardous conditions, as we have all seen recently from the news the tragic fire in the Tower blocks.

Those that manage properties should not only think about money but also have some self respect and consideration for those having to rent as it's not cheap!

It is made compulsory now by The Mayor of London that Landlords & Councils must make good all properties and to have safety which is paramount includes smoke detectors to be installed otherwise penalties will be issued.

There is no point Haringey Council trying to regenerate our areas when people's properties are in a awful state.
