We have written before about the terrific local resource -the Wolves Lane Horticultural Centre - or more simply the "Butterfly House" as my two daughters used to call it, a favourite place for a local outing with small children.

The centre now faces an uncertain future in the latest round of local authority cuts - and a group of volunteers has formed a "Friends of Wolves Lane" group to secure its continuation. A headline feature in this weeks Haringey Advertiser by Lucy Purdy (below) highlights the threat and the campaign to save it.

website has been set up for the campaign and a public meeting arranged for June 13th - please support the Wolves Lane Centre.

A petition to try to save the Wolves Lane centre has so far gathered 1600 votes, but 2200 are needed to force Haringey Council to take some notice.  The deadline for signing is 31st March.  See this link for more information.
