Hello all,

There are three new planning applications for Myddleton Road listed on the Haringey website, search for Myddleton Road here:

http://www.planningservices.haringey.gov.uk/portal/servlets/Applica...

In summary these are (apologies if these have been posted elsewhere):

114 Myddleton Road, Altered State are applying for a new shop front

This is good news I think, and continues the good work improving shop fronts along the street.

137 Myddleton Road, to the right of La Coppia, which is currently empty is applying for a grocery store/newsagent use

Again this is good news I think (no pun intended) and would be better than the current empty unit.

99 Myddleton Road, otherwise known as George Moores, Nick has submitted his application which includes a shop on the ground floor, rear extension and residential uses on the upper floors

I think this again will be a good improvement, getting another empty unit into use.

Do have a look and add your support for people improving the road!

Thanks for this Matthew. More positive news for the road and a further sign that things are heading in the right direction.

Great news, thanks Matthew. And the application for 99 is really good - love the personal statement.

Heard that George's is possibly going to be a bakery. For anyone that completed the questionnaire, it seems like it is a common request from people and despite there being a number of bakeries on the Green Lanes high road, I think there is room for something on Myddleton road. Would be great to have a crouch end style bakery focusing on high quality. Also space permitting, a proper bistro coffee shop would be great with hot food so we can all have a sit down meal. Fingers crossed!
