Yesterday it poured with rain and the tarmac footpath from Bounds Green tube to end of Whittington had developed two reasonable sized ponds-one particularly good one by the bus stop which was full of cigarette ends, leaves, sweet wrappers. I am not knocking the street cleaners who do a really good job and who have improved the cleanliness of the area but why do we get this horrible tarmac rather than pavements on this stretch of road?
