In 1933 Mr Norbury, an amateur photographer and chicken keeper, invented the world’s first security camera in London. His invention was largely ignored at the time, only now can we see him as the true father of camera surveillance. READ MORE
Does anyone know of Mr Norbury and what his actual first name was?

What a fascinating story - There is a newspaper report of the incident in The Queenslander - an Australian Newspaper printed in Brisbane - which calls him "Robert Norbury" Read the story here.
Hhowever it's most likely that this would have been simply re-published from a British Newspaper - so doesn't take the story any closer to it's source.
