Would be about this time I went to school next door to Barra

tts. Bounds Green Juniors was closed and we had to get the train from Bowes Park to Wood Green each day aged about 11. All I can remember is the smell of them making Liquorish Allsorts. Hated Liquorish then and now but it still permeates my nostrils.

Fascinating.

My kids and I spent 30 minutes watching the folks at Spun Candy Soho assembling a rock candy. Its great to be able to compare the processes & ethos of the two places.
