We are having a long awaited talk from Paulette Henry of Black Rootz fame! https://www.capitalgrowth.org/black-rootz/

Paulette is a long experienced gardener - a Master Gardener in fact - and is responsible for this community project which began in 2019 as part of a much broader black community organisation called Ubele (The Future) https://ubele.org/our-work/black-rootz/

Black Rootz was established in the Spring of 2019. Its home is at Wolves Lane Horticultural Centre not so far away from where we are based. Volunteers work together recognising the need for “Black and Minoritised growers to reflect and represent the cultural diversity of the Borough of Haringey and the wider UK.”
