Cinema Club for the over 60s: SONG SUNG BLUE; Thu 8 Jan; 2pm; Finsbury Park PictureHouse

Hello all;

The next offering is the film SONG SUNG BLUE at the Finsbury Park PictureHouse at 2pm on Thursday 8 January. The cost may have increased from £7.99. I emailed the cinema last week and I’ve heard nothing back. I’m sorry about this. If you’re coming for the first time, you’ll have to join the PictureHouse’s Silver Screen programme but it’s free and painless to sign up. This film is 2 hours and 13 mins long. So, it should finish about 4:30pm. There are a lot of trailers.

Here is the synopsis:

Based on a true story, two down-on-their-luck musicians (Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson) form a joyous Neil Diamond tribute band, proving it's never too late to find love and follow your dreams.

Pauline will be the point of contact. She will be there about 1:40pm. She will be sitting on the right as you come into the PictureHouse. I am still in Australia so, I can’t be there. Thanks Pauline for helping out.

There was no film on Jan 1 as there was no Silver Screen that day. The film will resume showing on the first Thursday of the month in February.

Cheers,
James Cowling
