The New River is not a canal *pedant alert*
I think you mean 'leafy' pg, Sue, in 'leafy' north london, ahem.
And if I was living in laid back leafy pg I wouldn't try and get to Bounds Green for the tube.
ooh I wonder if any of these places are going to be affordable...
This is probably one of the least affordable (for regular folk) new devleopments you'll ever come across.
One bedroom flats start at 'only £499k and properties go up to an eye watering £2.9m for a four-bedroom house...

Good Morning Nev
If there is to be a competition on affordability see the information on the flats Southgate Town Hall being offered by Messrs Winkworth of Palmers Green (ask for Nick)
Prices on Application!, see all photos at http://www.zoopla.co.uk/new-homes/details/photos/38124149
I have just spoken with 'Emily'. There are 17 available units (two have been reserved) and it is more 'affordable'(?) than Truro House with one beds starting at £375k going up to £675k for a 3-bed apartment...
More investment properties that won't be lived in by those who need homes...
Such a shame...The building really should have been turned into a much needed school for the area...
Hi Nev

Rest assured that as someone who was involved in the local consultation the school option was discussed at length and often!
It was found to be politically unpopular and too small a site. Options to create a free school by two opposing groups were turned down.
