A Community Network for Bowes Park and Bounds Green
Hello! So there's some important news for people living near White Hart Lane.
The Tottenham Hotspur Corporation has put in a planning application to build a high-density group of tower blocks, most 5-7 storeys tall, onto a piece of land they have kept vacant, (500 White Hart Lane near Great Cambridge Road) for some years.
This is an area with two-storey terraces, very poor transport links, and almost no shops and other amenities. Doubling the local population, even for a very lucrative development, will have significant ramifications.
This could obviously set a serious precedent for inappropriate development in the area. I urge everyone living nearby to visit Haringey's planning site and file a comment on this proposal. We have only until 14 April to comment!

Thank you!

Thanks for adding the link, Michelle!
She's totally right - it takes just moments to comment on this dangerous proposal, which would see 7 storey towers looming over our leafy streets. And imagine the impact on buses, parks, schools, doctors' surgeries with an additional 400+ people parachuted in! Not good.
